PETD: Project moves onto the Final Business Case stage
Following a review of the Outline Business Case by Transport Scotland in June 2023, the Port Ellen Terminal Development (PETD) Project has been approved to progress to the Final Business Case (FBC) stage, based on the option five design proposal.
This stage will include:
- The undertaking of marine ground investigation works to inform the design of works
- Detailed design works
- Environmental Impact Assessment Works
- Consenting works (Harbour Revision Order & Marine License)
- Implementation of procurement strategy
A further Transport Scotland review and approval will be required before the Project can move to the Construction stage.
