NTM 79/18 Brodick Ferry Terminal Isle of Arran Linkspan Berth Fender Damage

Mariners are advised that damage has been caused to a parallel motion fender located on the linkspan berth, Brodick Ferry Terminal, Isle of Arran, whereby a section of faceplate has become detached exposing the steel backing plate.

Until repairs to the fender can be undertaken and to avoid damage to vessels or the steel backing plate it is requested Mariners using the linkspan berth proceed with caution and minimise their berthing velocity in-so-far as prevailing conditions allow.
