NTM 74/20 BRODICK FERRY TERMINAL DIVE INSPECTION OF OLD FERRY PIER

Mariners are advised that following a cancellation of works in October, weather permitting a dive inspection of the old pier at Brodick Ferry Terminal, Isle of Arran will now be commencing on or about 03 December 2020 and undertaken for a period of three days.
Works will be undertaken from a dive support vessel that will be berthed against the structure. An A-Flag will be displayed at times when divers are in the water and the Master of the vessel will maintain VHF communication with any nearby vessels on channel 16. There will be no impact on scheduled ferry services. All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Brodick Ferry Terminal old pier during this time are requested to do so with caution, regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash and stay well clear of the structure while divers are in the water.
