Mariners are advised that works to install a mooring bollard at the southern end of the Top Wires Berth, Gourock Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde will commence on 07 August 2018.
During this time, contractors will be operating from the shore and an over-water platform attached to the face of the quayside. Works are scheduled to be completed on 19 August.
Subsequently, the area of quayside indicated within the area marked in red on the attached drawing is closed to berthing by all vessels during the period of the works.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal during this time are advised to proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
