NTM 67/16 Gourock Ferry Terminal Dive Inspections quayside sea defence wall
Mariners are advised of dive inspections being undertaken by Subsea ROV & Diving Services LTD to the quayside sea defence wall at Gourock railway station areas of Gourock Ferry Terminal. Weather permitting, the inspections will commence on Monday 3rd October 2016 through to Friday 7th October 2016. The inspections are being carried out on behalf of AMCO and Network Rail.
During all periods when diving activities are on-going Flag A “Diving Operations” will be displayed. A safety boat will be on site.
The Dive Team Supervisor will monitor VHF Channels 12 & 16 and will liaise with the Port Manager and Masters of the CalMac Ferries, Argyll Ferries and Clydelink Ferry to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal are requested to proceed with caution and regulate speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
