Further to NTM 54/19 Mariners are advised that as part of ongoing construction works contractors are required to undertake a dredging operation at Lochaline Ferry Terminal.

Weather permitting, work will begin on or around 14 November 2019 and will be carried out by Dredger MV Shearwater.

Barge Agem 1 will also remain at Lochaline for the duration of the works.

The vessel’s Master will monitor communications on VHF channel 16.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Lochaline ferry terminal during this time are advised to maintain a look-out for the dredger, proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
