Mariners are advised that, weather permitting, from 12 October 2020 works will commence to repair the pier and fenders at Colonsay Ferry Terminal Pier, Scalasaig, Isle of Colonsay.

Following initial works to set up the site the works thereafter will be predominantly undertaken from the pier deck and temporary scaffolding. A safety boat will be in attendance.

Other than for scheduled ferry operations the pier will be closed to berthing by all vessels between the hours of 08:00 to 17:00.

Works are expected to be completed by the end of December 2020.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Colonsay Ferry Terminal during this time are requested to do so with caution, maintain a lookout for the contractors and safety boat and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
