NTM 57/14 Lochaline Ferry Terminal, Morvern Ground Investigation Borehole Drilling Operations
Mariners are advised that Holequest have been contracted to undertake ground investigationworks at the ferry berthing structure, Lochaline Ferry Terminal, Morvern.
Equipment will include the use of unifloats to support drilling of four marine exploratory boreholes and two on-shore boreholes. The unifloats will be limited in their ability to manoeuvre and will be appropriately marked by day-marks.
During the evening they will be moored against the berthing structure and be unlit.
Weather permitting, the works are are programmed to commence on Wednesday 10th September and be completed within four weeks.

The engineer will liaise with the Master of the CalMac ferry and the local port manager to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services and will maintain a radio watch on VHF channels 16 and 31.
