The dive supervisor will liaise with the CalMac Harbour Manager and ferry Master to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services.
Works will involve a dive project undertaken from the dive support vessel ‘Will Endeavour’ and an A-Flag will be displayed at times when divers are in the water. The Master of the dive support vessel will maintain VHF communication with any nearby vessels on channel 16.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Castlebay Ferry Terminal during this time are requested to do so with caution, regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash and stay well clear of the dive support vessel and RNLI berth on the pier when an A flag is being displayed.
