Mariners are advised that commencing approximately 22:30hrs this evening, 21 April 2018, dive contractor Shearwater Marine Services Ltd will undertake a dive project to remove entangled rope from RoRo vessel MV Finlaggan while moored on the linkspan berth at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal, West Loch Tarbert, Argyll.
Works will be conducted from the shore adjacent to the linkspan and to avoid any disruption to scheduled ferry services will be undertaken throughout the night. VHF channel 16 radio communication will be available with the Dive Team supervisor.
The work is expected to be completed prior to recommencement of scheduled sailings on Sunday morning.
During this time all vessels navigating West Loch Tarbert in the vicinity of Kennacraig Ferry Terminal are requested to do so with caution, remain well clear of MV Finlaggan and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
