 FENDER REPAIR WORKS

 

Mariners are advised that, weather permitting, contractors Alchemy will be undertaking repair works to pier fendering at Armadale Ferry Terminal, Armadale Bay, Isle of Skye.

The work is scheduled to be undertaken from 28 September 2022 and is expected to be completed within 2 days. Works will be conducted from the pier deck and from the water, using a small workboat called ‘Hornet’ between scheduled ferry sailings to avoid any service disruption.

The contractor will maintain VHF communications on channel 16.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Armadale Ferry Terminal at this time are requested to do so with caution, stay well clear of the pier and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash.
