Mariners are advised that on 19 April 2018, contractor NG Builders will undertake fender repair works at the Top Wires berth, Gourock Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde.

Works will be conducted from the quayside from where communication will be maintained with the ferry Masters, Harbour Operations staff and others as required via VHF radio channels 12 and 16 for the duration. While works are on-going the berth will be closed to all vessels and a safety boat will be in attendance.

Works are scheduled to be completed within 4 days.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal during this period are requested to do so with caution, maintain a lookout for the safety boat and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
