Mariners are advised that from 29 August 2023, surveyors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys will be undertaking a high-resolution bathymetric survey of Armadale Bay, Armadale, Isle of Skye.

The work is still expected to be completed within 2-days and will be undertaken from survey vessel Coastal Sensor.

Communication will be maintained with CalMac Ferries Ltd, and others as required via VHF radio throughout all survey works. Surveys will be completed between sailings of the scheduled ferry services to avoid any disruption.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Armadale Bay during this time are requested to maintain a lookout for the survey vessel and pass at a safe distance and speed to minimise the effects of wash on the vessel.

Unless otherwise promulgated, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it remains in force.
