Mariners are advised a dive inspection of the linkspan and supporting structure at Gourock Ferry Terminal, Firth of Clyde will commence on 30 June 2020.
Works will be undertaken from a support vessel which will always display an A-Flag when divers are in the water. The dive supervisor will maintain VHF communication with any other vessels on channels 12 and 16 throughout the dive period and weather permitting the project should be completed within two days. Dives will be undertaken between scheduled ferry services to avoid any disruption.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Gourock Ferry Terminal on these dates are requested to do so with caution, regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash and stay well clear of the linkspan area of the ferry terminal while divers are in the water.
