NTM 23/15 Tarbert (Harris) Ferry Terminal Pier Fender Repairs

Mariners are advised that works to repair fendering at Tarbert Ferry Terminal Pier, Isle of Harris will commence on Tuesday 14th April 2015.

Contractors Alchemy Ltd will be operating from the pier deck utilising a hiab and a man basket. The works are anticipated to be completed within five days.

The contractor’s supervisor will monitor VHF Channel 16 and liaise with the CalMac Ferries Ltd port supervisor and Masters of the CalMac ferry to ensure there is no interruption to the scheduled ferry service.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of the Tarbert (Harris) Ferry Terminal are advised to do so with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
