Mariners are advised that weather permitting, on 22 January 2018 dive contractor Shearwater Marine Services Ltd will undertake a dive inspection of Lochranza Ferry Terminal Pier, Isle of Arran
Works will be conducted from the shore and pier structure and flag A ‘Diving Operations’ will be displayed at all times when divers are in the water. While the A Flag is displayed the pier will be closed to berthing by all vessels and the dive supervisor will maintain communication as required via VHF radio throughout the dive project. The survey will be undertaken out with scheduled ferry services to avoid any disruption.
Work is expected to be completed within 1-day.
All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Lochranza Ferry Terminal on the above date are requested to do so with caution, maintain a lookout for the dive team and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly during the period of the survey.
