Invest in Ferries

Ferries are lifeline services for Scotland’s islands; they need safe, reliable, and efficient services.

That’s why we are transforming the ferry network, backed by a £580 million investment for five years to 2026 from the Scottish Government. Our plans to upgrade and improve ferries and harbours will be delivered over the next decade, and plans are already well underway.
