Mariners are advised that on 07 October 2024, engineers will be undertaking a visual inspection of the linkspan at Brodick Ferry Terminal, Isle of Arran.

The work is expected to be completed within one day and will be undertaken from the linkspan and a small workboat during daylight hours only. The workboat may occasionally be out of sight beneath structure.

Communication will be maintained with CalMac Ferries Ltd, and others as required via VHF radio throughout all inspection works which will be undertaken between ferry operations to avoid any disruption.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Brodick Ferry Terminal during this time are requested to maintain a lookout for the workboat and pass at a safe distance and speed to minimise the effects of wash on the vessel.

Unless otherwise promulgated, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it remains in force.
