NTM 16/24 Colonsay Scalasaig Bay North Perch and AtoN Light Missing – Update
Mariners are advised that after a recent period of unfavourable weather the following AtoN light and most of its supporting pole established north of the pier head at Colonsay Ferry Terminal, Scalasaig Bay, Isle of Colonsay are missing.

UPDATE – We have now established a temporary buoy in position 56° 04.166’N 006° 11.000’W whilst we are assessing a long-term solution for the North Perch. The buoy has the same light characteristics as the original perch light of Q.G.
Issue of this NTM supersedes NTM 06/24, hence that is now cancelled.
Unless otherwise promulgated, if this NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it remains in force.
