NTM 70/20 ISLE OF ARRAN FERRY TERMINALS PIER & SLIPWAY SURVEYS
Mariners are advised that weather permitting, condition surveys of the piers and slipway at following ferry terminals on the Isle of Arran, Firth of Clyde will be undertaken on the dates shown.
25th November 2020 – Lochranza Ferry Terminal pier and slipway
26th November 2020 – Brodick Ferry Terminal new pier
At each location the works are scheduled to be completed within one day and will be conducted from each pier structure and from a small workboat. The contractor’s supervisor will liaise with the CalMac Harbour Manager and while on the water will also monitor VHF channel 16. There will be no impact on scheduled ferry services.
Mariners navigating in the vicinity of each ferry terminal on the dates indicated above are advised to maintain a look-out for the workboat, maintain a safe distance and pass at minimum speed to reduce vessel wash
