Mariners are advised that weather permitting pier escape ladder installation works will be taking place at the following locations and dates.

Coll Ferry Terminal, Loch Arinagour, Isle of Coll:        20 – 23 April 2017

Tiree Ferry Terminal, Gott Bay, Isle of Tiree:             20 – 23 April 2017

Colonsay Ferry Terminal, Scalasaig, Isle of Colonsay: 24 – 25 April 2017

Contractor GSS (Plant) Ltd will be on site operating from a workboat and the pier deck.

The contractor’s supervisor will liaise with the Port Manager and Masters of the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to ensure there is no disruption to scheduled ferry services. VHF channel 16 will be monitored.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of the above-named locations on the scheduled dates are requested to maintain a look-out for the workboat, proceed with caution and regulate their speed to minimise the effects of wash accordingly.
