Mariners are advised that on or about 31 July 2024, surveyors Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys will be undertaking a high-resolution bathymetric survey of the harbour area extending 200m from Lochranza Ferry Terminal Pier, Loch Ranza, Isle of Arran

Weather permitting the work is expected to be completed within one day and will be undertaken from a small survey vessel.

Communication will be maintained with CalMac Ferries Ltd, and others as required via VHF radio throughout all survey works. Surveys will be completed between sailings of the scheduled ferry services to avoid any disruption.

All vessels navigating in the vicinity of Largs Ferry Terminal during this time are requested to maintain a lookout for the survey vessel and pass at a safe distance and speed to minimise the effects of wash on the vessel.

Unless otherwise promulgated, if the NTM is still marked as ‘Active’ it remains in force.
